Spruce Tree House in Mesa Verde National Park is one of the best preserved cliff dwellings with more than 100 rooms and 8 kivas. Just a short distance from this dwelling lies a year long spring which provided water when the Puebloans lived in Spruce House. This dwelling is so named for the spruce tree on the left of this photo.
