Just inside the west gate of Yellowstone National park is the winding Madison River. Each day we drove past the river looking for wildlife and each day we were delighted with beautiful wildflowers.

One morning the river was almost overcome with mist we could barely see the bend in the river. Up close were the most beautiful wildflowers. I just had to capture them in pastel for everyone to enjoy.
